Schwedt water tower
The water tower of Schwedt / Oder in Brandenburg is part of the former water company with its factory buildings such as the well house, the de-icing system and pump station. It was built in 1911. Since the waterworks was no longer sufficient for the rapidly increasing demand, operations were stopped in 1965. The water tower is located on the southern exit of Schwedt and can be seen from afar. It is made of brick masonry.
The water tower and the outbuildings have served as a hotel and restaurant since 1995.
