Sulfur chlorides
The sulfur chlorides represent a group of several chemical compounds between the elements sulfur and chlorine. The most important are:
- Disulfur dichloride (sulfur (I) chloride), S 2 Cl 2
- Sulfur dichloride , SCl 2
- Sulfur tetrachloride , SCl 4
Some polysulfur dichlorides S n Cl 2 are also known, which have been isolated up to a chain length of n = 8.
