Pig next door (original title: Pigs Next Door) is an Irish - American animated television series from the year 2000 .
action
Pig father Phil and his family are the heirs to their late master's farm. However, the pig dad persuades the others to sell the property and move to town. They quickly settle in there and take on various jobs. Phil becomes a car salesman, mother Clara works in fashion and the piglets Chuckie and April go to school. However, they are the only pigs in a place full of people and so they often have problems with the other residents.
Production and publication
The series was produced in 2000 by EM.TV & Merchandising AG, Magma Films and Saban Entertainment in an Irish-American cooperation. The German first broadcast took place on July 7, 2001 on Sat.1 . Further German-language TV broadcasts took place on Junior .
