The Swiss Review is an information magazine for Swiss citizens living abroad . It has been published six times a year since 1974 in German (Swiss Review) , French (Revue Suisse) , English (Swiss Review) and Spanish (Panorama Suizo) with a total circulation of 427,000 copies and a reach of 751,800 readers. The Italian-speaking Swiss abroad are informed separately by the Gazzetta Svizzera , which was published for the first time in 1968, six years before the Swiss Review .

The Swiss Review is published by the Organization of the Swiss Abroad (OSA) on behalf of the federal government .

Content focus

The Swiss Review is politically and religiously neutral. It sees itself as an information organ and a link between Switzerland and its nationals living abroad, the so-called Swiss Abroad. The articles focus on topics of general and practical interest to this readership. Special emphasis is placed on political issues so that Swiss citizens living abroad can exercise their right to vote and be elected. By providing official information, Swiss Review also has the character of a binding official journal .

Four times a year there is a specific supplement for the addressees in different countries with information from the local consular missions and the local Swiss associations.

distribution

The Swiss Review is distributed free of charge to all households registered with a Swiss representation ( embassies and consulates ) abroad, but you can also subscribe to it for a small fee.
