The Association Suisse des Spécialités Pharmaceutiques Grand Public (German: Schweizerischer Fachverband für Selbstmedikation ; Italian Associazione Svizzera dell'Industria Farmaceutica per l'Automedicazione ; English Association of the Swiss Selfmedication Industry ), abbreviated ASSGP , is the umbrella association of Swiss manufacturers of pharmaceuticals for the Self-medication . He represents the interests of companies that manufacture or sell over- the- counter drugs, medical and health products.
The ASSGP was founded in 1969 and has been based in Bern since 1997. ASSGP is a member of Association Européenne des Spécialités Pharmaceutiques Grand Public (AESGP) and of World Self-Medication Industry (WSMI).
