Swiss Association of Women Teachers

The Swiss Teachers' Association was an association for women teachers in Switzerland founded in 1893 .

In particular, it was intended to improve the social security of teachers, but from 1896 onwards it went beyond its original objective and increasingly turned to the women's rights movement . The organ of the Swiss Teachers 'Association was the Swiss Teachers' Newspaper , which appeared from 1896 to 1982.
