Swiss weapon ring

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Swiss Arms Ring (SWR) is an amalgamation of Swiss student associations . It was founded in 1928 and is a purely purpose-built association with no political or ideological orientation. The SWR is not a corporation like the German Burschenschaft or the Coburg Convent . The purpose of the SWR and the only common basis of its member associations is - as is the case with the local and regional arms rings in Germany - the alignment of gauges .
