Emerging market

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An emerging market (English emerging market ) is the market of a newly industrializing country . As markets around the world are predominantly organized nationally, the terms emerging market and emerging market have similar meanings and are often used synonymously.

Investments in emerging markets are considered risky, as the risk of direct nationalization or indirect expropriation - in contrast to investments in countries of the OWCE - is seen as high. The development of the equity markets in emerging countries is mapped using indices such as the MSCI Emerging Markets .
