The Schwemmalm is located in the Ulten Valley southwest of Merano . It is a hiking area for the whole family in summer and a ski area in winter . The Schwemmalm is the home ski area of Dominik Paris and Siegmar Klotz .

The hiking area is characterized by its managed alpine pastures . The Schwemmalm is also easily accessible in summer thanks to the circular gondola lift (1200 to 2200  m ) built in 2008 . The highest point in the Schwemmalm skiing and hiking area is Mutegg at 2658  m . From there you have a direct view of the Dolomites and the Ortler .

The ski area has 25 km of slopes and is very snow reliable due to its southern location . It extends from 1500  m to 2625  m and is a member of the Ortler Ski Arena .
