In the northern part of Kettwig, near the Im Teelbruch industrial park in the district of Umstand , the first construction phase, namely the indoor swimming pool, was opened on December 3, 1974. outdoor pool

There are four swimming pools enclosed between large, 20,200 square meter sunbathing lawns. The sports and swimmer pool has lanes that are 21 meters wide and 50 meters long. Next to it is a 3.5 meter deep, 8 by 11.75 meter diving pool with a 1 meter and a 3 meter diving board. North of these two pools is an L-shaped non-swimmer pool which is 25 by 15 meters plus 25 by 24 meters. A water slide about three meters long opens into it. Between these pools there is an eight-meter-high observation tower for the lifeguard.

There is also a round paddling pool eight meters in diameter with an adjacent children's playground. A sand-covered beach volleyball field, a kiosk and a kiosk hut as well as a shower and changing building are also located on the premises.

Indoor swimming pool

The indoor pool has a 12.5 meter wide multi-purpose pool with 25 meter lanes and diving boards one and three meters high. Part of the pool floor can be lowered hydraulically, so water depths between 1.30 and 1.70 meters are possible on the side opposite the diving tower. There is also a 4 x 2.5 meter non-swimmer pool. A solarium can also be used.
