Scorcha Records was founded in 2005 by Ralf Koppelkamp. Musically it is geared towards reggae , ska and soul music. The European releases of albums by American bands are organized as well as releases by European artists appearing exclusively on Scorcha. The Jamaican singer Derrick Morgan and the Malaysian reggae band The Aggrobeat have also released records on Scorcha Records. They play an important role in Scorcha releases on vinyl as LP or single. The sound carrier distribution is handled by Cargo Records .
