Screaming Trees (electro band)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Screaming Trees were a British synth-pop band.

The band was founded in 1987 by Sean Maloney and Mark Swancott in Sheffield . The Screaming Trees' only album was "A Fracture In Time", which was released on Native Records in 1987 and produced by Stephen Singleton (former saxophonist with ABC ) and David Lewin. In addition, two singles were released in 1988 with "Asylum" and "Tangiers", whereby the former was decoupled from the album and became an insider tip on the dance floor.

In the 1990s, Maloney and Swancott had two follow-up projects in the field of electronic music with Count Zero and Tocsin .
