Seán Sherwin ( Irish Seán Ó Searbháin ; * 1946 ) is an Irish politician and former member of the Dáil Éireann .

Sherwin was elected after an unsuccessful candidacy in the 1969 elections on March 4, 1970 for the Fianna Fáil in the 19th Dáil Éireann to the seat of the late Irish Labor Party MP Seán Dunne , which had become vacant shortly after the election to occupy. He left Fianna Fáil in 1971 as part of the arms crisis and switched to the Aontacht Éireann party, newly founded by Kevin Boland .
