Sebastian Oliver Becker (born April 10, 1985 in Trier ) is a former German soccer player.

Career

Becker began his football career in Trier-Pfalzel in the youth of the local TSC Pfalzel. In 1997 he moved to the youth team at Eintracht Trier , where he played until 2003. From January 2004 he played in the club's first team.

In Trier he played a total of 34 times in the 2nd Bundesliga and the Regionalliga; he got three goals. After Eintracht was relegated to the top division in 2006, Becker moved to FC Augsburg , who had just been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga .

After a good first season with the then promoted FC Augsburg , he did not get beyond the role of reservist in his second season with the Swabians. Numerous injuries prevented the leap into the team squad again and again. Coach Ralf Loose already suggested a change to the young Trier during the winter break. Becker stayed, however, and hoped for a new chance under the new coach Holger Fach . Another injury prevented it from being used under a compartment. At the beginning of the 2008/2009 season he moved to the relegated Kickers Offenbach . From the 2009/2010 season he will play for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . The midfielder , who last played for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt in the third division , announced his retirement in June 2011.
