Sebastian Hess (sports scientist)

Sebastian Hess (born July 20, 1977 in Böblingen ) is a German athletics trainer .

Hess studied at the University of Karlsruhe . After completing his studies, he became the coach of the two athletes Charles Friedek and Nils Winter . Friedek was able to win two German indoor championship titles and one German outdoor title under him and at the end of his career qualified for the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin. Under him, Nils Winter won the silver medal at the European Indoor Championships in Turin in 2009 and improved his personal best to 8.22 meters in this competition. After the dissolution of the Team Reference Network Leverkusen association, Friedek ended his career and Winter moved back to Hamburg. Hess remained Nils Winter's exercise bike afterwards.

Sebastian Hess is married and lives in the Black Forest.
