Sebastian Schubert (* 1965 in West Berlin ) is a German author and graphic artist .

Life

Sebastian Schubert grew up in Berlin. After graduating from high school, he studied architecture at the Berlin University of the Arts (today Berlin University of the Arts ). Since 1987 he has worked as a designer for the ZDF (especially for the German-German magazine Kennzeichen D ), for the SFB and, after the fall of the Wall, for the DFF country chain and for the ORB ; Political illustrations, broadcast layouts, studio designs, cartoons and computer animations were created. In addition, Schubert designed books, calendars and other printed matter, primarily for galleries and artists.

Since 1994, Schubert has been producing television programs and documentaries as an author and director, mainly on contemporary historical topics. Since 2003 he has been writing conceptions and scripts for television films. In addition, Schubert has been running the private blog KinoTageBuch on film history from the 1940s to 1970s since 2011 .
