Sebastian Wolter

Sebastian "Busty" Wolter (born June 8, 1977 in Berlin ) is a German freestyle motocrosser . He was one of the co-founders of the German FMX scene and has had a major impact on it ever since.

Sebastian Wolter grew up in Berlin and started riding motocross at the age of 12. His first race was in Ahrenshöf near Husum in April 1989. He celebrated his first success in 1991 when he finished fifth in the 80cc youth championships. In 1992 he became North German Champion in the 125cc class. In 1994 he made third place at the DMSB Cup. In 1995 he received his international license in the 250cc class.

In 1996 Busty was fifth in the German 500 cm³ championship and qualified for the world championships. In 1997 Busty suffered a shoulder injury, but was then able to achieve top 3 results in the German 500 cc class and again qualify for the World Championships. However, due to his shoulder injury, he decided to only ride Enduro in the future .

In 1998 he became German runner-up in the 400 cm³ 4-stroke class and won a gold medal as a member of the Junior Trophy at the international six-day race.

In 1999 he was again German runner-up in the 400 cc 4-stroke class and seventh at the world championship run in the Czech Republic.

In 1999 he took part in the first FMX event in Germany, the AIR-Cross FMX, and immediately won it. In 2009 he received the Audience Award for Best FMXer of the Year at the Action Sports Awards .
