The residential building at Sebastianusstraße 27 is in Korschenbroich in the Rhine district of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The building was built in 1885 and entered into the list of architectural monuments in Korschenbroich under No. 174 on February 14, 1991 .
architecture
It is a brick house with an attached gatehouse of a former four-wing brick courtyard from 1885 ( dating in the Torkeilstein ). The house is two-storey in five axes . The single-storey gatehouse is on the left.
Despite minor changes overall, this residential building with attached gatehouse has retained its original appearance. These parts of the building meet the requirements of § 2 DSchG NW for entry in the list of monuments . They are important for human history as a cultural and historical testimony to the working and living conditions in the 19th century and for cities and settlements in the sense of local history. There are scientific, here architectural and settlement-historical reasons for their preservation and use.
