Sixteenth Selbach is a living space within the boundaries of the Creglinger district Waldmannshofen in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Franconia dominated northeastern Baden-Wuerttemberg .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1136 as a chair brook, which probably indicates a personal name. The place belonged to the rule Brauneck. In addition, the Würzburg bishopric was owned until the 19th century. With the reign of Brauneck, Sechselbach came to Brandenburg-Ansbach in 1448. In 1637 the place came with Waldmannshofen to Hatzfeld (see also the history of Waldmannshofen ).

The place came as part of the formerly independent community Waldmannshofen on February 1, 1972 to the city of Creglingen.
