The Seaman's Parish Office of the North Church is the coordinating body for the affiliated seaman's missions within the German seaman's mission (DSM) and for pastoral care for seafarers.

In cooperation with the stations of the DSM, state organizations and port companies, the parish of the North Church is committed to the Hamburg-Altona mission , the Duckdalben seaman's club , the Krayenkamp seaman's home and the Brunsbüttel , Lübeck , Kiel , Sassnitz and Rostock seaman's missions for the well-being of seafarers the ships that dock in the ports there.
