Segment ( Latin segmentum , section ') means "section, part (of a whole), part of a structure, subdivided, section" and denotes:
- in the anatomy in principle of similar structure body portions such as the segments of arthropods (annelids and arthropods), or the segments of the spinal cord , see segmentation (biology)
