Segusiavi

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gaul in the last century BC Chr.

The Segusiavi ( The Victorious ) were a Celtic tribe in Gaul whose fortress was near Lugdunum . The name Segusiavi is perhaps derived from the Segobriges , a people who, according to legend, were involved in the Greek founding of Massalia .
