Sehwi (also Sefwi , Asahyue ) is a language in Ghana .
It was the official language of the Kingdom of Sefwi and is also the mother tongue of the titular nation of Sefwi . About 250,000 speakers live in southwest Ghana (2003).
Sehwi is similar to the Anyin language in Ivory Coast .
