Seiji Koga ( Japanese 古 賀 誠 史 , Koga Seiji ; born August 7, 1979 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Koga learned to play soccer on the school team at Higashi Fukuoka High School . He signed his first contract in 1998 with the Yokohama Marinos (today: Yokohama F. Marinos). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2001 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed nine first division games. In 2002 he moved to the second division Avispa Fukuoka . In 2005 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. At the end of the 2006 season, the club rose again from the J2 League. For the club he completed 134 games. In August 2007 he moved to the first division club Vissel Kobe . For the club he completed 34 games. In 2010 he moved to SC Sagamihara . At the end of 2012 he ended his career as a football player.
