The Sejong Hill is a 261 m high hill on King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the Barton Peninsula, it rises just north of the Araon Valley .
South Korean scientists named it after the name of the neighboring King Sejong Station . It is named after King Sejong , who ruled over the Korean kingdom of Joseon from 1418 to 1450 .
