Sekpele (people)

The Sekpele are a people from the group of so-called Togo remnants in Ghana with 23,400 (2003) members. The Sekpele mainly live in eastern Ghana, between the Volta reservoir and Togo north of the 7th parallel, directly on the border with Togo. Neighboring peoples are the Lelemi , Santrokofi and Ewe .

Their language is the Sekpele (also Lipke) from the group of the Kwa languages .
