Sinamore is a Finnish dark rock band from Hamina .
biography
The three childhood friends Mikko Heikkilä, Jarno Uski and Miika Hostikka founded the band HALFLIFE in 1998 , with which they released their first demo recording My Grace in 2000 , followed by the other demo recordings Agony and She and the Devil .
In the spring of 2002, Tommi Muhli joined the trio as the second guitarist . At that time the band called themselves H / L, the name HALFLIFE was shortened. The first joint demo recording as a quartet was called Sleeping Away , the fifth was released in 2004 together with producer Teemu Aalto under the name Follow into the Cry . A small Japanese label showed interest in them, but the contract was terminated due to problems. Shortly thereafter, the band changed their name to Sinamore.
In January 2006 the four Finns released their debut album , which had been unpublished for a long time, but still had to be corrected before release, under the name A New Day . The record received high praise in the international press, including Orkus magazine , where Sinamore was named Newcomer of the Month.
A year later, in January 2007, the group's second album was released under the name Seven Sins A Second .
On October 9th, 2008 Sinamore announced on their website that Tommi Muhli had left the band. He gave personal reasons for this. Nevertheless, the trio, which has now been forced to return to its origins, plans to continue working on their third studio album as planned.
Since April 26th 2009 Sinamore is a quartet again, Sami Hauru from ID: Exorcist has been announced as the band's new second guitarist.
