Self-loading weapon

As a self-loading weapons are handguns referred to eject after a shot is fired automatically the empty case, to introduce a new cartridge into the cartridge chamber, tension the hood and are again ready to fire, so that the shooter only the withdrawal press must. In contrast to machine guns ( row fire pistol , submachine gun , assault rifle and machine gun ), self-loading weapons can only emit single fire ; the trigger must be pulled again after each shot.

Self-loading weapons are divided into self-loading pistols and self-loading rifles .
