Selena Millares

Selena Millares (* 1963 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ) is a Spanish writer and professor.

She was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and received her PhD in literature from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid . She lived in Minneapolis , Paris , Berlin , Santiago de Chile and Alghero . Since 1996 she has held a professorship at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid . She is the author of many essays and created various creative works (poetry, prose, painting) suggesting an interdisciplinary dialogue and a return to original humanism based on the integral conception of art and thought.
