The Selkirk Rugby Football Club is a rugby union -Verein which in the Scottish National League Division One play. It is based in the Scottish Borders in Selkirk .
As early as 1877, a game by a team from Selkirk was reported. The club was officially founded in 1907. In the 1952/53 season, Selkirk won both the Border League and the unofficial Scottish Championship. The club had previously won the Border League twice in 1935 and 1938. In 2008 they rose again to the first division.
A total of twelve Scottish internationals emerged from the club, including four British and Irish Lions .
