Selo gori ( German: burning the village and the grandmother combs ) is a Serbian Drama - sitcom that on the channels RTS 1 and RTS Sat is broadcast.
The title is based on a Serbian idiom , which is used in the case of indifference or indifference in crisis situations and other need for action.

Almost everything in the series revolves around the character Radašin, who tells of life in his village, of the time with his compatriots, his relatives, his wife Radojka, his daughter Milona, her husband Radenko and their children Milica and Milutin, his Son Radoslav, his Swedish wife Ingrid and their son Tomas, as well as the events surrounding his friends Dragojlo, Žota and Mile, who, together with Radašin, are also the main characters of the series.
Action scenarios
The series is set in the small village of Petlovac between the large, southern and western Morava . Despite the comedic elements in Selo gori , the deep emotional connection between family, tradition and the country is portrayed. The village is the main location of the series and exemplarily shows the change in typical Serbian villages, through the movement of young people to the cities or abroad and the modernization of rural communities.
It is emphasized that the village is the heart of Serbian folk culture and pride. It is a place that shows the typical life of a Serbian farming family. The series also emphasizes honesty and kindness as qualities of Serbs and tries to break down the stereotypical view of the Serbs since the 1990s (“the focus of the plot are small and large people, farmers ... people who are the first to pay their taxes and pay their electricity bills ”- Radoš Bajić).
The film was also shot in the town of Kragujevac and in the spa town of Vrnjačka Banja .
