The Rýchlostná cesta R5 is a planned, short expressway in northern Slovakia . It is the shortest planned Slovak motorway or expressway ever. Essentially, it will serve as a feeder from the Czech Republic to the Diaľnica D3 , which is also planned , with no connection points in between. Due to the length and the route, the construction deadline is dependent on that of the D3.
