  • Rýchlostná cesta R6 is a dual carriageway in northwestern Slovakia . It currently consists of a two-lane motorway slip road that connects the Diaľnica D1 near Beluša with the town of Púchov . However, this is only actually dedicated as R6 from the Beluša junction to the Beluša / Dolné Kočkovce junction (2.7 km), the Beluša / Dolné Kočkovce – Púchov (4.8 km) route is only dedicated as the state road I / 49A because it among other things has two level crossings.

Further construction to the Czech border is planned, with the state road section also being adapted to the expressway standard. At the border crossing Lysá pod Makytou - Horní Lideč , the road will continue as Dálnice 49 (D49) towards Zlín and Hulín . Taken together, the two expressways are a kind of replacement for the never-running stretch of the old Czechoslovak D1 motorway from Brno to Trenčín .
