Hulin
Hulin ( Chinese 虎林市 , pinyin Hǔlín Shì - "Tiger Forest") is a city on the banks of the left Ussuri -Nebenflusses Muling River with 300,000 inhabitants (end of 2004) and a total area of 9,329 square kilometers in the province of Heilongjiang of the People's Republic of China . Their population density is 32.16 inh / km². On June 14, 1993, the former Hulin County was placed under the district-free city of Jixi . He had previously belonged to Mudanjiang . On October 11, 1996, the Hulin District was finally dissolved and the city of Hulin was established on its administrative territory.
Hulin also includes the 0.74 km² Ussuri island of Zhenbao Dao (territorially identical to the "municipality of Zhenbaodao"), on which several armed, loss-making border incidents with the Soviet Union occurred in 1969 . Both countries considered the island as their territory. It was only in the Sino-Russian border agreement of October 14, 2004 that Russia recognized Zhenbaodao as part of China. After the National People's Congress on April 27, 2005 and the Duma on May 20, 2005 approved the treaty and ratification by the presidents of both countries, this regulation became valid under international law.
Administrative structure
At the community level, Hulin is made up of seven large communities and four communities . These are:
- Large village Hulin (虎林镇), center, seat of the city government;
- Greater community Dongfanghong (东方红镇);
- Greater community Yingchun (迎春镇);
- Greater community Hutou (虎头镇);
- Greater community Yang gear (杨岗镇);
- Greater community Dongcheng (东诚镇);
- Greater community Baodong (宝东镇);
- Xinle Township (新 乐 乡);
- Community Weiguang (伟光乡);
- Community Zhenbao Dao (珍宝岛乡);
- Abei municipality (阿 北 乡).
In addition, the forestry offices of Dongfanghong (东方 红 林业局) and Yingchun (迎春 林业局) as well as the state farms 850 (八五 零 农场), 854 (八五 四 农场), 856 (八 五六 农场), 858 are located in the administrative area of Hulin (八五 八 农场), Qingfeng (庆丰 农场) and Yunshan (云山 农场).
