The Cesta I. triedy 14 ( Slovak for '1st order street 14'), short I / 14 , is a 1st order street in Slovakia . It is located in the middle of the country and essentially connects the city of Banska Bystrica directly with north-western Slovakia. It is exempt from the truck toll applicable in Slovakia. Until about 2003 it was 2nd order street 577 .

The road begins in Uľanka (Banská Bystrica district) and first follows the Bystrica and Harmanec valleys. Shortly after the village of Dolný Harmanec , it becomes steeper and winding to overcome the difference in altitude to the Malý Šturec saddle . On the west side of the saddle it follows the Biela voda brook and ends at a crossroads between Horná Štubňa and Turčianske Teplice .
