Semenawi Bahri National Park is one of Eritrea's two national parks in the Semienawi Kayih Bahri region (Northern Red Sea region). It is located northeast of the capital Asmara , on the border with the Anseba region . This area is one of the most beautiful landscapes in northern Africa. The region is particularly characterized by a 20-kilometer mountain range that is between 900 and 2400 m high ( Dur Ashava , ⊙ ). The national park is hardly developed and is rarely visited by tourists. There are information centers in Meguo, Medhanit and Sabur.
