Semicolon (artist group)

Semikolon is a Bonn artist group that was founded in November 1968.

Founding members were Alf Bayrle , Christoph Fischer, Alexander Opaska, Franz Josef Osterloh, Johannes Reinarz and Peter Wartenberg. Carl Körner was chairman for many years. The number of members is limited to 18 people.

Although exhibitions also took place in France or Spain, for example, the group's work is closely linked to the cultural scene in Bonn. The group is present in the cityscape with the semicolon stele in the Rheinaue as well as other temporary installations.

Members

Members were in the past u. a. Helmut Brand, Anna Chulkova, Izabella Chulkova, Heinz-Otto Laub, Josef Niesen, Sonja Riegert, Margit Romberg, Bohdan Z. Stachiw.

Current members are Sibel Akkulak, Nortrud Becher-König (2nd chairman), Jutta Detken, Natja Jander, Erika Kömpel, Carl Körner (honorary chairman), Rolf Lund, Barbara L. Mayer, Olaf Menke (chairman), Jerzy Z. Moryto, H.-Christian Pfeiler, Titus Reinarz and Tanja Schmiechen.

Exhibitions

Regular exhibitions are mostly shown in the Hardtberg cultural center in Bonn-Duisdorf.
