Coordinates: 8 ° 42 '  S , 115 ° 5'  O Seminyak is a tourist - and residential area on the west coast of the Indonesian island Bali , north of Kuta and Legian .

Originally a separate community, this is now another suburb of Kuta, but the prices for accommodation are among the highest in Bali. Due to its high density of shops as well as warungs and restaurants , Seminyak rose to become the most popular tourist destination in Bali , along with Legian and Kuta, which are connected by the same main street - which is collectively called Jalan Legian .
