The east wall of the building was exposed after the neighboring building was destroyed during the bombing raid on Stralsund on October 6, 1944 ; the wall with the buttresses at the corner and the segmental arches is largely medieval .

The front door in the basket arch - portal has been preserved in the original.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 709.
