The Senufu ax is an African ax . African axes were developed and used in different countries and by different ethnic groups in Africa as weapons of war, hunting, culture and civil status. The Senufu ax has a narrow blade that is bent at right angles in the middle. The front area of ​​the blade is sickle-shaped (see picture info box). The shaft is made of wood and is round. An aluminum sleeve is attached to the lower end. In the area of ​​the blade, the shaft is decorated with traditional carvings. The Senufu ax is used by the Senufu and Bobo ethnic groups.
