The Sepa is a saber from Java .
description
The Sepa has a curved, single-edged blade. The blade becomes wider from the handle to the location and runs in a strong S-shape on the back of the blade and on the cutting edge. The blade is slightly wider in the middle and narrower at the handle and in place. It runs to a point on the spot. The blade is usually made from Pamor steel (similar to Damascus steel ). The hilt has a small guard and is made of wood or horn . It is slightly bent in the knob area towards the cutting edge. The entire booklet is carved in the shape of a mythical being ( Naga ) . The Sepa is used by ethnic groups on Java.
