Sepp Wendl

Sepp Wendl (born June 2, 1894 in Fohnsdorf ; † June 17, 1969 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and economic advisor. From 1945 to 1953 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

After finishing elementary and community school, Wendl attended a commercial school and learned the trade of a businessman. He joined the Social Democratic Party in 1918 and worked as an accountant and economic advisor. Because of his political engagement he was imprisoned in 1934, later he was active in the resistance. Wendl represented the SPÖ between December 19, 1945 and March 18, 1953 as a member of the National Council.
