Serafim Keropowitsch Patkanow
Serafim Keropowitsch Patkanow (* 1861 ; † 1918 ) (?); scientific. Serafim Keropovič Patkanov , Russ. Серафим Керопович Патканов, was a Russian statistician, economist and ethnographer.
In St. Petersburg, appeared from 1888 to 1893 his economic situation of Russian peasants and natives of Western Siberia materials to study ( Материалов для изучения экономического быта крестьян и инородцев Западной Сибири ).
His report on the Irtysh-Ostyaks and their folk poetry (St. Peterburg 1897–1900, Russian) is an important source for research on shamanism .
