Serbski Hospodar

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Serbski Hospodar. Časopis za serbskich ratarjow. ("Sorbischer [Land-] Wirt. Journal for Sorbian Farmers.") Was a Sorbian bi-monthly magazine that was aimed at Sorbian-speaking farmers in Upper Lusatia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries .

The paper was founded in 1882 by the then Nebelschützer pastor Georg Gustav Kubasch . Michał Hórnik was also an important author in the early years of the magazine . The Hospodar first appeared until 1910 and again from 1924 to 1937, when it - like all Sorbian-language press products - was banned by the National Socialists.
