Sergei Dovgalyuk
Sergei Jurjewitsch Dowgaljuk ( Russian Сергей Юрьевич Довгалюк ; born June 9, 1962 in Leningrad ) is a Russian horn player.
Dovgalyuk studied horn at the Leningrad Conservatory with Vitaly Bujanowski and was a member of his master class from 1980 to 1987.
As early as 1980 he was a candidate for the National Soviet Horn Competition and in the same year he became a member of the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra in which he was solo horn player from 1986 to 1992. In 1992 he moved to Holland and worked in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
Dowgalyuk has performed many times as a soloist with the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Early and Contemporary Music Orchestra, the Glinka Chapel Orchestra St. Petersburg, the Nieuw Synfonietta and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.
