Sergei Sergejewitsch Mitrochin ( Russian Сергей Сергеевич Митрохин ; born May 20, 1963 in Moscow ) is a Russian politician . From 2008 to 2015 he was chairman of the Russian Democratic Party Yabloko . He calls the Russian system authoritarian-criminal-oligarchic .

Life

He studied at the Moscow State Pedagogical University and received a doctorate in political science . From 1993 to 2003 he was deputy of the State Duma from 2005 to 2009, the Moscow City Duma. In 2019 he was re-elected to the city parliament. Previously there had been protests in Moscow against the election conditions and the exclusion of opposition politicians.
