Sergei Wassiljewitsch Evsejew
Sergei Vasilyevich Yevseyev ( Russian Сергей Васильевич Евсеев ; born January 13 . Jul / 25. January 1894 greg. In Moscow ; † 16th March 1956 ) was a Russian composer .
life and work
Evsejew studied with Lev Konius , Alexander Goldenweiser and Sergei Taneyev . He taught theory at the Taneyev Music School from 1919 to 1930 from 1922 to his death at the Moscow Conservatory .
He composed three symphonies , a piano and a clarinet concerto , chamber music works, two piano sonatas , a dithyrambe for voice, violin , cello and piano as well as songs and choirs based on folk songs by the Russians, Mari and Mordvinen .
