Sergei Viktorovich Avramenko

Sergei Wiktorowitsch Avramenko ( Russian Сергей Викторович Авраменко ; born May 23, 1954 in Ismajil , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Russian Vice Admiral .

Life

Avramenko graduated from the Frunze Naval College of Officers in Leningrad in 1976 . He served in the Black Sea Fleet as a combat section commander and first officer of a large missile ship . In 1990 he graduated from the Naval Warfare Academy NG Kuznetsov , became a ship commander, later chief of staff and deputy commander of a ship brigade, and then commander of a ship brigade of the Black Sea Fleet. From October 2002 he was employed as Chief of Staff and 1st Deputy Commander of the Primorsk Flotilla of Mixed Forces of the Pacific Fleet . He then became the commander of the flotilla. On June 3, 2005, he took over the post of Deputy Commander of the Pacific Fleet. In October 2005 he was in charge of ship squadrons of the Russian Pacific Fleet that took part in joint fleet maneuvers with the Indian Navy (INDRA 2005). Fleet visits were made to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.
