Sergio Múñiz (born September 24, 1975 in Bilbao ) is a Spanish actor and model .

Life

Born the second of three brothers, Sergio Múñiz dropped out of school at an early age. At the age of 16 he started working in his father's fruit store in 1991. At the age of 20, Muñiz moved to Italy in 1995 , where he hoped to pursue a career as a photo model. It was only after three years of working as a bartender and disc jockey that he was discovered, so that he could start his career in the late 1990s.

In 2004 he took part in the second season of the reality show L'isola dei famosi , the Italian version of the television program Survivor . Muñiz emerged from the format as the winner. Only a year later, in 2005, he made his film debut in Lodovico Gasparini's film La signora delle camelie . In 2006 he was in the Italian-Spanish co-production Die Borgias as Juan Borgia , the son of Pope Alexander VI. to see. In 2009 he was seen as Jesus of Nazareth in the independent film Journeys with the Messiah and in 2012 as Antipater in the Bible adaptation Her Name was Maria .

In 2009 he released his single La Mar and a music video.
