Sergio Mantegazza (* 1928 ) is a Swiss entrepreneur .

Life

His father Antonio Mantegazza founded the Globus tourism company in 1928 . Mantegazza attended the Istituto Elvetico and studied at the Gademann Business School . Mantegazza heads the Globus company, until 2014 he also ran the airline Monarch Airlines , which he and his brother Geo founded in 1967 . In the fall of 2014, the Mantegazza family sold the financially troubled Monarch Airlines to the British investment company Greybull Capital.

Among other things, he owns the yacht Lady Marina . According to the US American Forbes Magazine , Mantegazza is one of the richest Swiss and is listed in The World's Billionaires 2005.
